They can mix a selection of Wiggles and Hi-5 songs and play a choice of party Favourites that will have the children up and dancing from the first song.

They can also organise party games, for example, Musical Chairs, Pass The Parcel, Simon Says and Statues etc.

This will ensure the younger children won’t be trampled on by the older children and the music styles will vary from infants to primary students.

We have found that the younger children become more involved with the Party Favourites and can include, Hokey Pokey, Birdie Dance, Macarena, Nut bush, Gangman Style, YMCA and the Limbo subject to the amount of children participating.

The older children however, will respond to the latest hits and music from Pink, Niki Minaj, Carly Rae Jepsen, Justin Bieber, One Direction, Katy Perry, Chris Brown, Usher, Timomatic, Jason Derulo, David Guetta and LMFAO just to name a few.

The music choice is up to you or you can utilizes the DJs (Disc Jockeys) experience in knowing what music is appropriate for this age group.

We are fully aware of certain songs that have inappropriate lyric and ensure these songs will not be played. Eg: Eminem etc.

You may like to email a list of your favourite songs to us prior to the school disco so we can forward this list directly to the DJ as to give him/her an idea of what types of music you personally like.

The DJ (Disc Jockey) will take request on the day ensuring everyone’s music choice is catered for. If you have any favourite CDs or iPod/iPhone that you would like to provide, the DJ would be more than happy to play them for you.

Mega Music also offers a unique personal service by having the DJ (Disc Jockey) call you on the Wednesday evening before the disco party to discuss your music selection and answer any questions.
